Age Right Retrofit, Inc.
provides products and home modifications for seniors. Our mission is to make homes safer, more convenient,
and more enjoyable for aging adults and those with mobility challenges.
We are licensed
General Contractors, Insured, and Certified Aging-In-Place Specialists (CAPS) servicing the Minnesota metropolitan and surrounding area.
We are also authorized dealers and distributors of a wide
and growing range of specialized equipment. We provide everything from Grab Bars to top rated Walk-In tubs, lifts,
and monitoring systems.
This powerful
combination enables us to provide complete turnkey A.I.P. (Aging In Place) solutions. We work in partnership
with various healthcare professionals and/or directly with the homeowners and their care givers.
Whether you are looking for simple solutions or
adjustments in your home to make life easier, or have an extensive bathroom remodel or specific
mobility equipment in mind, we can provide it.
We'll also work with
your favorite contractor, or "do-it-yourselfers".
For contractors who are
interested in serving this growing population and movement of those who prefer staying at home and modifying it
over moving on to assisted living, we can be a valuable resource. We'll save you time and money "getting your arms
around" the vast specialized equipment available towards this goal.
Our philosophy begins with an understanding that one of the biggest threats to our
health and way of life as we age is a fall. It only makes sense to look for simple solutions shown to reduce the
frequency and/or the severity of falls before they happen.
It is also our belief that a big part of reducing the risk of a fall is to keep up or even
improve your strength. However, we believe that your strength training
regiment is best addressed in a controlled approach and environment rather than by climbing up and down an old
stool or chair to reach a heavy pot or pan in the back of an upper cupboard.
Lowering your risk of a fall doesn't have to break the bank either. We always
suggest starting with "the biggest bang for your buck" solutions by focusing on simple ways to make everyday tasks
and activities more convenient. More often than not, these convenience solutions are also key in preventing falls
and injury. We call this concept "preventive convenience", and it can be incorporated into all areas of your home -
often very inexpensively.
During our free initial consultation with you, we'll learn about
you, your home, and your unique situation, to put together a comprehensive proposal including a short and long term
plans based on your wants and needs.
